Love to get behind the wheel or handlebars? Join one of the cruise sessions around the track! Perfect for classic, modified, cool, or retro rides. Cruise your toy, enter it into the Show + Shine, and if speed is your thing, compete in the Off-Street Roll Race. After registering, our team will guide you on which elements of the show you want to take part in – the family cruise, Show + Shine, and / or Roll Race. It’s entirely up to you.
PERUSE – Skid Row Spectator Pass
Bring your family and friends, a picnic blanket, chairs, and esky, and enjoy the show from the comfort of the hill. Watch all the action on the Main and Pitt Lanes and admire the Show + Shine entrants. Grab a ticket for every person in your car and soak in the atmosphere.

ABOUT THE VENUE
Opened in 1961 on a former dairy farm near Brisbane, Lakeside Raceway is a historic 2.41 km circuit built by volunteers. Known for being narrow, fast, and hosting iconic events like the Australian Grand Prix (1966 & 1969) and Touring Car Championships, it’s the perfect backdrop for Big Boys Toys.
Whether you’re cruising your best classic, modified, or show toy around the track, or perusing the action with family and friends, Big Boys Toys at Lakeside Raceway is the ultimate playground for motorsport and automotive fans alike.

FAQs – Rules and Regulations
– Road Registered and Roadworthy and need to be in clean and presentable condition
– Cruise sessions throughout the day with a maximum of 80 cars on the track at any one time
– The cruises are 20 mins long
– A Driver’s Briefing is also compulsory on the day. Make sure to get your armband! Without it, you will not be allowed on track.
– Must complete the Safety Riders App https://racers.world/event-sign-on
– All drivers must have a current driver’s license, and be 18yrs or older (no learners permits)
– All vehicles must not exceed 95DB
– Enclosed footwear is required
– No static or foot-on burnouts allowed
– A 10km per hour pit lane speed limit must be observed
– Zero Blood Alcohol for Driver and passengers
– We have a 100% no drug or alcohol policy
– Seat belts must be worn by each person, if the car is fitted with them
– Drivers to attend the briefing session held throughout the day
– No getting out of the car whilst on track
– No vehicles over the 3 tonne track weight limit
